Another peasant dress for Ariana. I really like this fabric.


Really like until I cannot afford it get it wasted. So I made another dress using the same fabric for my friend's little daughter who is turning to 1 y.o this 22nd Feb.

Shirred dress… and soo proud of myself..

Its not easy to take picture of Baby Mai since that she loves to move a lot. Thank iphone 4 for the front camera. She was actually enjoying seeing her self on the screen.

A parcel arrived all the way from Sasha of Tags&Labels.

My own cloth label. No intention of bussiness. I just love it when my own handmade dress worn by Ariana.

The other day, I was cutting my fabric and had cut it wrongly. It supposed to be a wrapped around dress. But it turned out to be this:

… at least it turned into something..

Bubble Dress

My very first mommy-made bubble dress for Baby Mai.

I used the pattern that I bought from Etsy - Sophie McCurly from Babes of Sweet.

Since that it was my very firat attempt, I used my very ordinary cotton to make it. Fear of doing it wrongly, so I kept my precious cottons in a save place.

It was actually a very nice dress. Although there are stitching error here and there, but Im glad that Baby Mai able to wear it without tearing it in the public. Hehe



It is also called as 'peasant blouse' from the free tutorial that I got from the net. I used elastic for the arm and neck.

Since that Im happy with the dress, I decided to make another one using my half yard cotton. Half yard can only turned to be a blouse.






Paired it with a shorts, and she's ready to go.

Hello

I finally decided to put up another blog (yeay for me) as well as another commitment for me (boo hoo) just for me to talk about my MoMMy Made masterpiece. 

I'll be the MoMMy…

…. and that little girl is the one who I forced will be wearing my so-called masterpiece, Maisara @ Baby Mai.

So basically this blog will be about my very first attempt to start sewing. I have zero knowledge about stitching. Totally zero. My first sewing machine is my very first time touching a sewing machine.

I will be updating from time to time of my handmade baby clothes for Baby Mai.

Lets just hope that this blog will be frequently updated.

Despite the zero knowledge of stitching, I had ordered my very own clothes label, to keep my stitching spirit alive. Still waiting for it to reach me.
